Research Day
Research Day
|
|
| Medical Genetics Research Day is an annual event run by student
volunteers. The purpose of this event is to showcase the research
projects of our students and postdocs, to generate interactions and
discussion, and a chance to hear two presentations by distinguished
researchers. Two awards are presented each year at Research Day. The
Teaching award, whose recipient alternates between a clinical and basic
science researcher, is awarded to a member of the MEDG faculty who has
excelled in their teaching contribution. The James Miller Award is
awarded to a senior PhD student excelling in various areas. All Medgen students are encouraged to present their research in a poster format and poster prizes are awarded to the senior and junior research categories. |
