Research Interests: Genomics and bioinformatics are used to intelligently select genes derived from microarray analyses for further analysis and validation as key players in neural development and degeneration. Neurological mutant mice are used as entrees into studying the genetics, cell biology and development of genes that are critical to nervous system development. The transcriptional networks which serve to guide the development and function of the cerebellum is a major effort in the lab.
